Serious accident / Motorcycle driver injured

A road accident was recorded on the Lushnje–Berat road, near the village of Stan-Karbunarë, where a motorcycle collided with an Opel vehicle.

As a result of the crash, the motorcycle rider was injured and transported in serious condition to Lushnje Hospital. According to preliminary sources, he suffered fractures to his leg and head.

Traffic police arrived at the scene, and an investigative team is expected to further clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident.

Initial information suggests that the motorcycle attempted to make a maneuver to enter a fuel station when it collided with the vehicle.

The old Lushnje–Berat road is mainly used by local residents and does not experience heavy traffic, as most vehicles are diverted to the new road, which does not pass through the villages.
