SERIOUS INCIDENT / The body of a 58-year-old woman found dead

A serious incident has occurred in Berat.

Around 07:40, the body of 58-year-old M. M. was recovered by her family from the waters of the Osum River. She is suspected to have drowned intentionally.

According to family members, she suffered from mental health issues and had left her home yesterday around 19:00.

The investigative team is at the scene working to clarify and document the circumstances of the case.
