Update on the situation in Korçë County, January 13, 2026, 08:30

The Prefecture of Korçë County reports that, according to data from ARA – Central–Eastern Directorate, no precipitation was recorded overnight on the county’s road networks. Temperatures remained below zero, and salt spreading was carried out in problematic areas.

On the Ersekë–Leskovik and Maliq–Gramsh routes, traffic continues normally. On the Maliq–Gramsh route, mudslides from the slopes, mainly in the Lozhan area, remain problematic.

On the Boboshticë–Dardhë, Lapidari Podgorie–Podgorie–Liqenas roads, as well as in Lot 7 (Libonik–Rëmbec–Plasë and Korçë–Voskopojë), salting has been carried out as needed, and traffic is normal.

On the Korçë–Ersekë and Zemblak–Goricë–Bilisht–Miras routes, no problems are reported, although winter tires are recommended.

EDO – Korçë Regional Directorate reports that currently 3 feeders are partially out of service, affecting a limited number of electricity subscribers:

In the Maliq area: 14 rural subscribers;

In the Pogradec area: 4 private subscribers;

In the Gjanç area: 2 subscribers.

EDO teams are on standby to repair faults on site. All feeders supplying critical consumers are fully operational. The Pogradec hydroelectric plant is operating normally.

Meanwhile, work continues to close the breach in the Devoll River embankment, with the involvement of Ministry of Defense equipment, in cooperation with Maliq Municipality and the Irrigation and Drainage Directorate.

No new issues have been reported by the municipalities of the county. Responsible structures remain on the ground to fully normalize the situation and repair any remaining damage.
