“Skifteri,” the 38-year-old from Korçë, doesn’t give up his trade, arrested again for stealing from 5 homes in the city

Five cases of residential burglaries in the city have been solved and documented, and the suspected perpetrator, previously convicted for the same activity, has been arrested.

The Korçë Police Station, continuing its work to prevent thefts, investigate past burglaries, and hold offenders accountable, conducted a thorough investigation that led to the identification, capture, and arrest in flagrante delicto of:

E. B., 38 years old, resident of Korçë, previously convicted for theft.

Investigations suggest that this individual is the suspected author of the burglary of the home of Gj. M. (resident in Greece), which occurred on January 10, 2026, in Neighborhood No. 3, Korçë, where various items were stolen.

Further investigations indicate that he is also suspected of committing four additional burglaries in Korçë on September 28, 2024; March 20, 2025; January 6, 2026; and January 1, 2026, during which jewelry, cash, furniture, and other valuable items were taken.

Work continues to fully document the above incidents, as well as any other events in which he may have been involved and to identify any suspected accomplices.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
