SKËNDERBEU/ Takaj in Korçë. Here’s what happened!

Just 48 hours before the start of Skënderbeu’s summer preparations, club president Ardjan Takaj arrived in the southeastern city of Korçë. Sources close to our portal report that the Skënderbeu president traveled to Korçë to meet with the players, the technical staff, and the club’s management.

The same sources indicate that Takaj showed particular interest in the players who have already joined the squad under the orders of coach Ernest Gjoka, and he also gathered updates regarding those who have not yet linked up with the team.

For Takaj, this was his first visit to the southeast since Skënderbeu’s final match against Bylis—a match that marked their relegation to the First Division.

Takaj also held a meeting with Sporting Director Ardi Gjançi, where they discussed potential new signings, though it has been made clear that the club’s transfer strategy will be cautious and selective.

It is expected that Takaj will leave Korçë later today, but he is set to return soon for a longer stay to be closer to the team during what will undoubtedly be a challenging mission: securing an immediate return to the Superliga.
