Skënderbeu, ready for first official summer friendly against Struga.

The time has come for Skënderbeu to play their first official test match of the summer preparations. Scheduled for Saturday, July 26, this will be Ernest Gjoka’s team’s first friendly on home turf and the opening clash of the pre-season.

Until now, Skënderbeu has only held internal matches against their U-19 squad. However, this weekend they face Struga, a team from neighboring North Macedonia coached by Bledi Shkëmbi, the legendary former Skënderbeu captain.

The match will kick off at 19:00 and is expected to draw a considerable crowd, as fans are eager to see the First Division version of Skënderbeu for the first time this summer.
