Skënderbeu “overcrowded” with goalkeepers. Dilemma for the staff: How will the puzzle in goal be solved?

The situation in Skënderbeu’s goal this season has taken on a new dynamic. The Korçë club currently has four goalkeepers available, creating an “overcrowding” in this position and turning it into one of the most complicated issues for the technical staff.

The competition has significantly intensified, and it remains to be seen how the situation will be managed in the coming weeks.

At the top of the list is Marko Alia, who carried most of the weight in goal last season and performed with great stability. He is seen as one of the main options again for this season.

Following him is Kristiano Rroku, a young and talented goalkeeper, but who has had limited playing time and needs more minutes on the pitch to showcase his potential.

The team has also added Amarildo Dervishaj, after his experience with Kukësi. He is expected to be an important part of the group and seems to have a real chance of securing the starting spot, depending on the form he shows during the preparatory phase.

Most recently, the squad has been joined by the super talent Demirshaj, who comes from Skënderbeu’s U-19 championship-winning team. He is considered one of the most promising youth goalkeepers, and his inclusion in the first team marks a big step in his development.

This situation has placed the Korçë technical staff in a difficult position, as they now need to make a final decision on which goalkeepers will remain part of the group for the new season and who will earn the status of first-choice goalkeeper.
