The beginning of the week will be dominated by clear skies. However, the second half of the week will be different, as meteorologists predict rain.
“Starting mainly from Thursday and Friday, cloud cover will develop and humidity in the air will increase significantly, which will result in rainfall across much of Albanian territory. The southern regions are expected to be the most affected, while central and northern areas will see lighter rainfall. Not only will there be rain, but snow is also expected in the higher mountain areas, primarily in the northeastern part of Albania,” said Hakil Osmani on Klan TV.
According to him, temperatures will gradually decrease due to the increased cloudiness, especially starting Wednesday.
“With clouds and precipitation present across Albanian territories on Thursday and Friday, air temperatures will drop, with maximum temperatures falling to around 23–24°C, while minimum temperatures in mountainous areas could drop to 3°C, mainly in the northeast. In the rest of the Western Lowlands, early morning temperatures will range from 6°C, rising to around 11–12°C along the coastline,” said Osmani.
Meteorologists note that the atmospheric conditions this month are typical of autumn, although maximum temperatures are 2–3 degrees higher than the average values for October.
