The Electoral College upholds the ASC decision on the mandate of Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet

The mandate of the coalition Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet will remain with Ana Dajko.

On Monday, the Electoral College unanimously decided to uphold the ruling of the Appeals and Sanctions Council (KAS), which had awarded the mandate to the first candidate on the closed list of the coalition.

Initially, Lapaj and the coalition requested that the mandate be transferred to him as the top vote-getter on the open list. However, the State Commissioner had granted it to Lapaj’s cousin, Kleana Xhuveli.

ASC later overturned this decision, rejecting the resignations submitted before the elections and awarding the mandate to Dajko.
