“Daniel Shima was considered the main brain of NAIS. His last contact was with his partner. He was in Borsh and, on his way back, had bought eggs. Yesterday, he visited his grandmother’s house.

He only sent one message to his partner saying, ‘They are going to arrest me.’ From that moment, an alert was issued. Security cameras also show him in Tirana, all the way to the Elbasan Tunnel. He mentioned having a conflict with his partner.

I don’t see it that way, but I believe the case needs a thorough investigation. The police need to clarify who Shima met in Borsh and Shijak after leaving Tirana, and why he sent that message saying he would be arrested.

Daniel Shima knows a lot. If he speaks, many investigations could follow. I don’t believe his disappearance was voluntary. It must be determined if he was threatened to stay silent, whether he needs protection, and whether he should speak about what happened at NAIS.
