The victims of the tragic car accident are Viktor Bushi, Klarenc Kacaj, and Marianka Bushi Aliraj. Marianka was sitting in the back seat of the car next to Kacaj’s 49-year-old wife, who was the only survivor after managing to escape from the burning vehicle.
New details have emerged about the tragic accident in which three Albanians lost their lives on the Egnatia highway in Greece. A witness described the dramatic moments that unfolded on Monday when a truck crashed into two cars, causing them to burst into flames. He said that while the cars were on fire, they could hear the three people begging to be pulled out.
“Get us out, get us out. Help, get us out, save us,” the witness recounted, adding that they saw the victims burn alive as they were trapped inside the vehicle and nothing could be done to save them.
The witness said the fire started from the tires, which exploded in flames, and within seconds the car was engulfed. There were multiple explosions, and the fire also spread from the truck.
The victims of the tragic car crash are confirmed as Viktor Bushi, Klarenc Kacaj, and Marianka Bushi Aliraj. Marianka was in the back seat next to Kacaj’s wife, who survived after managing to escape the burning car.
All four had been returning from a wedding. In the second car struck by the truck were Viktor and Marianka’s daughter, their son-in-law, and their two grandchildren aged 4 and 6. When the truck hit the car driven by the 59-year-old, it then collided with the vehicle carrying his pregnant daughter, her husband, and their two children.
