“They shot in my direction!” / 28-year-old reports gunshots being fired at him

A serious incident was reported Monday evening in the city of Laç, where a 28-year-old man told police that shots had been fired at him while he was walking.

The incident occurred at around 11:55 p.m. According to the police statement, the 28-year-old, identified by the initials S.K., a resident of Laç, reported that a person had fired a gun in his direction.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Immediately after receiving the report, the investigative team, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, began working to document and fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing to identify and apprehend the suspected perpetrator or perpetrators, while the motive for the incident remains unclear.
