Two people arrested by police in Sarandë for allegedly using a car wash to sell drugs.

According to the police, the individuals taken into custody are Renato Makri, 51, and Ilir Prenga, 22, both residents of Sarandë.

Investigations revealed that they were conducting illegal activities involving the sale of narcotics from the premises of a car wash on “Idriz Alidhima” Street, Sarandë, which they had adapted as a base for distributing drugs.

During a search of the location, police found and seized approximately 1 kg of cannabis sativa, along with other items used for dividing and packaging the substance, including 2 vehicle license plates, 1 motorcycle plate, and aluminum foil.

The case files have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the General Jurisdiction Court of Sarandë for further action.
