An incident that happened in the life of a couple in Spain, where a thief broke into their home and found the wife naked in bed, caught the attention of British media.
The tabloid Daily Mail reported that when the thief forcibly entered the house in the middle of the night, Angie Castillo was in a deep sleep lying next to her boyfriend, 34-year-old Alex Varona.
At that time, the uninvited person, carrying a flashlight, entered their property in Costa Del Sol and “inspected” the naked woman up close.

Her husband, who works in physical fitness, expressed his frustration that he wasn’t awake to confront the thief who broke in to steal but ended up watching his wife naked in bed while she was sleeping.
Angie, a mother of one, was unaware of what had happened until the next day when she noticed her bag was missing, and the couple reviewed the security camera footage in their home.
To their horror, the 32-minute clip showed the masked intruder silently crawling through their bedroom, watching Angie in bed.
He appeared to be fixated on her, continuously shining his flashlight over her body.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Angie said she could have been raped if she had been sleeping alone.

“I saw the camera and my blood ran cold,” she said.
“He entered the room eight times. He was looking between my legs, at my intimate parts, looking at my face. He completely forgot about stealing. He was more interested in looking at me.”
“I was very scared, shaking. I was in shock. The day before, my boyfriend Alex had been in Germany. If I had been alone, this man could have raped me.”
“Half an hour after he left the house, I went to the bathroom. Maybe if I had seen him, I would have screamed. Alex would have done something. But the thief might have had a knife or a gun with him.”
Angie Castillo and her partner Alex Varona, a black belt champion in jiu-jitsu, were both in a deep sleep when the perverted thief broke into their home in Marbella last month. Security camera footage captured the moment the intruder shone his light on Angie’s body as she slept naked.
“I’m still traumatized by this,” she said. “Before I go to the bathroom at night, I check the cameras. If Alex gets out of bed at night, I jump. Now I’m seeing a psychologist.”
Instead of stealing her gold ring, a €400 Philipp Plein watch, or other jewelry, he only took €300 in cash from her bag and threw it away.
Spanish police are analyzing the security footage to identify the suspect, but no arrests have been made yet.
Angie’s teenage son was also sleeping in the adjacent room at the time.
“Marbella is a bit dangerous now with people breaking into homes. I would advise people to install alarms in their houses,” she said.
Her husband, Mr. Varona, a Brazilian black belt jiu-jitsu champion, said that if he had been awake when the intruder was there, things would have turned out differently.
“I can stop almost anyone. He came into our home, and with the skills I have, you can imagine how angry I felt.
If I had been awake then, the video that everyone has seen on social media would have been very different — I would have stopped him until authorities arrived, without causing him any harm,” he said.

He had returned from a jiu-jitsu tournament in Germany the day before. The couple went to the cinema and finally went to bed late.
“The intruder didn’t steal anything from me, but maybe he stole my pride. Since I’m a black belt jiu-jitsu player and do what I do, I shouldn’t have any excuse. I train about three times a day, six days a week, sometimes seven, and I couldn’t do anything about this uninvited person in our home,” he said.
The couple did not report the burglary immediately, partly out of embarrassment and because they thought that since the thief wore a mask, gloves, and socks, they doubted he could be caught by the police.
Later, they found the courage to report it after being encouraged by friends.
Concerned by the intruder’s behavior and desperate to catch him, the police released the footage.
The incident comes as residents in Spain have been warned to strengthen their security systems following an increase in burglaries.
In other footage, a man dressed in a mask and a gray hoodie is seen forcibly entering a series of villas between San Pedro de Alcantara in Marbella and Benahavis.
Called the “San Pedro Prowler,” he is seen picking locks with a sharp tool.
He later fled carrying luxury items, including handbags and jewelry.
