Tragedy on the Korçë-Maliq road, a young man from Korçë loses his life after a strong collision between two vehicles

A tragic accident was recorded overnight on the Korçë–Maliq road, near the village of Vlocisht, where a young man from Korçë lost his life, while another person was seriously injured.

According to preliminary information, the “Benz” vehicle driven by the victim, which was entering the main road from a rural road, was hit from behind by an “Audi” vehicle.

The collision was extremely powerful, causing the “Benz” to end up in the roadside ditch, almost completely destroyed. As a result, the driver of the vehicle died at the scene.

A passenger in the “Audi” vehicle was also seriously injured in the accident and was urgently transported to the Regional Hospital of Korçë to receive medical assistance.

Police arrived at the scene and, in cooperation with the investigative group, are working to clarify the full circumstances and causes of this fatal accident.
