TRAGIC! 27-year-old woman loses her life after giving birth to twins

A tragic event has shaken the city of Shkodër, where a 27-year-old woman has lost her life just days after becoming a mother for the first time.

Migena Salihi died as a result of health complications that appeared after giving birth to twin daughters. Despite the efforts of doctors and the assistance provided, she did not survive.

The young woman had also made a public appeal for blood donations, as her condition worsened immediately after childbirth and she urgently needed blood of type 0 negative.

The call spread quickly on social media, and dozens of citizens responded, but unfortunately the battle for her life was unsuccessful.

Migena had completed her studies in Geography teaching at the University of Shkodër “Luigj Gurakuqi” and worked as a teacher. Only four years ago she had become engaged and had begun building her life with her partner.

The news of her passing has caused widespread reactions and deep sorrow in the community. Friends, relatives, and activists have expressed condolences and shared memories of her, describing her as an energetic, dedicated, and exemplary young woman.

In her memory, her friends also planted a tree as a symbol of life and the love she left behind.

While the pain remains immense, her memory will live on through her two newborn daughters, whom she did not get the chance to raise.
