Tragic! A young Albanian child was fatally struck by a car driven by his own father

A tragic incident occurred in Kosovo, where a child lost their life.

According to local media, the event took place in Vushtrri, where the minor died after being hit by a car driven by his father. The incident was reported as accidental, but the child sustained severe injuries and did not survive. Police are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of this tragic event.

“Vushtrri, 27.03.2026 – 15:00. It has been reported that a male Kosovo citizen, due to carelessness, struck his child with his vehicle, resulting in the child’s death from severe injuries. The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. The case is under investigation,” the Police statement reads.
