Tragic accident / Truck crashes into car, driver loses his life, his sister and son rushed to the Trauma Hospital

A serious road accident resulting in the death of one person was recorded in the early hours of this morning on the Lezhë–Milot road axis.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 a.m., when a vehicle collided with a truck under circumstances that have not yet been fully clarified. The crash proved fatal for the driver of the vehicle, a citizen from Kosovo, who died at the scene due to the injuries sustained.

Two family members of the victim were also injured in the accident, specifically his sister and his son, who were urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana. According to medical sources, both are out of danger and are receiving the necessary treatment.

Meanwhile, the truck driver was escorted to the Lezhë Police Station, where procedural actions are being carried out to fully clarify the incident.

The investigative team immediately arrived at the scene and is working to determine the causes and circumstances that led to this tragic accident.

Police also issued an official statement regarding the incident:

“At around 4:30 a.m., on the Lezhë–Milot road axis, a truck driven by citizen A.M. collided with a vehicle driven by Kosovo citizen K.B.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle, citizen K.B., lost his life at the scene, while his sister, citizen F.B., and his son, citizen F.B., were transported to the Trauma Hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical assistance and are out of danger.

The truck driver, citizen A.M., was escorted to the Lezhë Police Station, where procedural actions are being carried out.
