Two cars burned after midnight / Intentional arson suspected

Two vehicles were engulfed in flames late Sunday night in the city of Vlora, shortly after midnight.

According to preliminary information, the fire is initially suspected to have been deliberately set to a “Benz” vehicle with license plate AB 550 LV. The flames then spread to another vehicle, a “BMW” with license plate AB 652 UI, which was parked nearby.

Residents of the area immediately alerted the fire service, which intervened to extinguish the blaze and successfully brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to surrounding areas or other vehicles.

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. Officers are reviewing security camera footage in the area in order to identify the possible perpetrator or perpetrators.

Authorities have not yet provided further details regarding the motives behind the incident.
