Two doctors under investigation / Delayed treatment of a minor caused health damage during surgery

Police have launched an investigation into two doctors suspected of delaying the treatment of a minor.
According to the police statement, the individuals under investigation are L. H., 30, and A. H., 32, both practicing doctors.
The investigation began following a complaint by Sh. M., who claims that these two doctors caused delays in the medical treatment of his underage daughter.
The father also stated that during a surgical procedure, the doctors harmed his daughter’s health.
“Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of Police Station No. 4 referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were opened against L. H., 30, and A. H., 32, both doctors, following a complaint by Sh. M. that the two doctors delayed medical treatment for his underage daughter and caused harm to her health during a surgical procedure,” the police statement reads.
The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
