Unexpected raid in Devoll / 34-year-old caught with drugs and ammunition at home

Police have concluded an anti-drug operation in Devoll, codenamed “Braçanj,” leading to the arrest in flagrante of a 34-year-old suspected of illegal activities related to narcotics and firearms.
According to the police statement, specialists from the Drug Investigation Section at the Korçë Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Devoll Police Station, organized the operation following information obtained through operational channels that a citizen was involved in illegal activities including the production and sale of drugs, cultivation of narcotic plants, and unauthorized possession of ammunition.
As part of the operation, the citizen D.M., 34 years old, resident of the village of Braçanj, was arrested. During a personal search, a small quantity of suspected cocaine was found.
Meanwhile, a search of his residence led police to seize cannabis seeds, a quantity of ammunition, and a sum of money, all taken as material evidence.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the General Jurisdiction Court of Korçë for further action.
