A serious incident occurred last night in Milan.
A 70-year-old man attempted to end his life by jumping from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment, but fate reserved a tragic and unusual turn.
During the fall, he landed on an 83-year-old woman who was passing by, and she died instantly.
The 70-year-old himself survived. He was rushed to the hospital, where he received medical care and is now out of life-threatening danger.
Italian authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
