After Week 15 concluded yesterday, Week 16 has now been officially confirmed and will be played over two days, on December 13 and 14, meaning Saturday and Sunday.

Five matches will be played on Saturday, all kicking off at the same time, 13:30. The highlight of this week will be the clash between second-placed Laçi and league leaders Skënderbeu. The match is expected to be fiercely contested, especially since in the first round Skënderbeu defeated Laçi in Korça with a 1–0 scoreline.

The gap between the two teams is 7 points, and Skënderbeu remain more relaxed as they also have one game in hand. Meanwhile, Laçi need the three points, as they feel the pressure from Pogradeci, who sit in third place.

Also on Saturday, the lakeside team Pogradeci will host Kukësi, and on paper Pogradeci are the favorites. Iliria will host Luftëtari, Burreli will face Kastrioti, and the last match of the day will be Apolonia vs. Korabi.

On Sunday, December 14, the only match scheduled is the one between Lushnja and Besa, which will kick off at 13:30.
