Even champions cry, or rather, they will cry when it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese football star spoke about his future in the much-anticipated interview with English journalist Piers Morgan on his YouTube channel, explaining how difficult the day of his retirement from football will be, just as it has been for many of his colleagues.

"Retirement? It will be hard, for sure. Will it be difficult? Yes. Most likely, I will cry, yes... but I am an open person," said Cristiano Ronaldo. "It will be very, very difficult, yes. But I have been preparing for my future since I was 25, 26, 27 years old. So I think I’ll be able to handle the pressure."

Although he hasn’t decided when he will take this "big step," the Al Nassr forward has planned what he will do next, just as he has often done during his career.

"Nothing compares to the adrenaline we feel in football when we score a goal. As I said, everything has a beginning and an end, so I believe I will be ready," Ronaldo continued. "I will have more time for myself, for my family, to raise my children."

Cristiano Ronaldo also reflected on the past, not hiding his sadness about the situation at Manchester United, which has been struggling for years.

"I’m sad for the club, one of the most important in the world, which I still have in my heart," said Cristiano Ronaldo. "It’s necessary to work with smart people to build a foundation for the future, just like Manchester United did years ago with players like Nicky Butt, Gary Neville, Roy Keane, David Beckham, who became great footballers, but who were very young."
