Sonila Dh., the mother of the 13-year-old girl who jumped from the third floor of an apartment building in Korçë yesterday, is being prosecuted while remaining at liberty.

Sources close to the investigation team report that criminal proceedings have been initiated on charges of “incitement to suicide,” as investigations revealed that the mother had caused psychological distress to her daughter.

The 13-year-old has been transferred to a center in the capital to receive medical treatment and psychological care, and she is not in life-threatening condition.
