20-year-old wearing State Police uniform and badge arrested in flagrante

Police report that during the inspection, a police uniform, badge, insignia, a sporting weapon, and suspected forged documents were seized.

Patrol units from Police Station No. 5, while conducting a check on “Mother Teresa” Boulevard, observed a Mercedes-Benz driven by E. B., who was wearing a police uniform and badge. After stopping and verifying, it was confirmed that he was not a police officer.

During a search of his residence, police seized:

4 identification documents with suspected forged names and photos

1 sporting pistol with 2 magazines

16 various badges and insignia

3 caps bearing markings similar to police symbols

Authorities announced that investigations are ongoing to fully document the case and to verify whether the 20-year-old is involved in other illegal activities related to the use of police uniforms and equipment.
