A construction worker falls from the third floor: 51-year-old in critical condition

A 51-year-old Albanian man was hospitalized in critical condition following a workplace accident yesterday at a construction site on Ellinos Stratiotou Street in Patras.

According to foreign media reports, the worker is believed to have fallen from the third floor into an empty elevator shaft, sustaining serious injuries.

He was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of Patras, where he is being treated intubated in the intensive care unit. Police proceeded with the arrest of the project supervisor, who was later released.
