A faster connection to the Southeast, the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road axis inaugurated

Today, September 5, on the day that coincides with the Canonization of Mother Teresa, the new Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road axis will be inaugurated. The opening ceremony will take place at 11:00 and will gather high-ranking political figures and local administration representatives.

Present at the event will be Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku, Korça County Prefect Niko Peleshi, as well as the mayors of Pogradec and Korça, Ilir Xhakolli and Sotiraq Filo, along with other officials.

The new Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road is expected to shorten the distance and travel time from the capital to the southeast of the country. With improved infrastructure and higher speed, this artery will ease connectivity and contribute to the economic and social development of the area.
