A police officer arrested for selling drugs while in uniform, caught in the act

The Police Oversight Agency, Tirana Region, has caught police officer M. L., assigned to the Security Block at the Tirana District Police Directorate, in the act.

He is suspected of committing the criminal offenses of “Abuse of Duty,” “Production and Sale of Narcotics,” and “Failure to Report a Crime.”

The arrest followed confidential information obtained by the Tirana Regional Directorate of the Oversight Agency, indicating that the officer was planning a meeting to purchase several doses of a substance suspected to be cocaine, with the intent to distribute it within the Security Block, where he was on duty.
