Accident on the Pogradec–Tushemisht road, 28-year-old faces criminal charges for traffic violations

Following the information provided last night about the accident on the Pogradec–Tushemisht road, where four people were injured, authorities have announced that legal actions have been taken against the responsible individual.

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector have referred the case materials to the Pogradec Prosecutor’s Office against H. P., 28 years old, resident of Pogradec. He is being prosecuted criminally for the offense of “Violation of traffic rules,” as he is suspected to be the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident.

The incident occurred on one of the most frequented routes in the area, and according to preliminary information, the collision was severe, injuring four people who were immediately taken to the hospital for medical assistance. Fortunately, reports say the injured are out of life-threatening danger.

The traffic police continue their investigation to precisely determine the causes and circumstances of the accident, while urging all drivers to respect traffic regulations to avoid such incidents that risk lives and road safety.
