ALBANIA AT BOILING POINT / Meteorologist: Temperatures reach 40°C, fire risk

Meteorologist Tanja Porja has warned of hot days with extremely high temperatures awaiting our country.

Porja explains that temperatures of up to 39°C will be experienced in several regions, starting from tomorrow.

These scorching temperatures are expected to continue for several days and will likely drop only after July 10.

“After midnight and until morning, it is cooler. We are experiencing tropical nights with temperatures above 20°C.

Midday has been scorching. Today we expect 39°C in the Berat region. There is also humidity present during these days.

Tomorrow, temperatures of 39°C are expected in Koplik, Tirana, Gjirokastër, and Elbasan.

Starting from July 10, powerful storms are expected to hit Europe. In Albania, we will only experience a drop in temperatures. These are very high temperatures,” said Porja.
