On July 4th, the United States of America celebrates Independence Day, one of the most important and historic events in the founding of one of the world’s most influential nations. This day marks the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was signed by 56 delegates of the then American colonies.
On this special day for the American people and for all those who share the values of freedom, democracy, and independence, we remember a historic moment that changed the course of modern history. It was a single parchment sheet and 56 signatures that began an extraordinary political journey—a bold effort to build a nation on new and unexplored principles at that time.
The then President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, described this moment with these words: “With a single parchment sheet and 56 signatures, America embarked on the greatest political journey in human history.” Independence Day is more than a national holiday. It is a reminder of the battles fought for freedom, the great sacrifices, and the vision of a nation born from hope, ideals, and courage. Today, on July 4, 2025, we celebrate the 249th anniversary of this ongoing journey—a path built on enduring values that continue to inspire people around the world.
Happy 249th Independence Day, America! May this be a day of reflection, pride, and unity for all who believe in freedom and human dignity.
