The police operation codenamed “Veprimtaria” has been finalized.

A 49-year-old man was arrested after selling narcotic substances in his bar.

A 15-year-old was also criminally prosecuted after purchasing a quantity of narcotics from the bar owner.

A quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 3 mobile phones, and a sum of money were seized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Korçë Local Police Directorate, as part of the action plan drafted for 2026, aimed at preventing and combating criminal activity in the field of narcotics, and based on operational information about an individual selling narcotic substances in his bar in Pogradec, organized and successfully carried out the police operation codenamed “Veprimtaria”.

Within the framework of the operation, the police apprehended and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen K. S., 49 years old, resident of the village of Buçimas, Pogradec.

During a search conducted at this individual’s bar in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa was found and seized as material evidence.

The case materials were also referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, which initiated criminal proceedings against a 15-year-old, after a small quantity of suspected cannabis was found on him during a physical search, which he had purchased from the citizen K. S.

As material evidence, a quantity of narcotic substance, 3 mobile phones, and a sum of money were seized.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, work continues to fully document the criminal activity of this individual.

The case materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Korçë for further actions.
