Korçë Local Police Directorate
Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Korçë Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the following individuals:
A. S., 30 years old, resident of Korçë, suspected of stealing a mobile phone from E. D.
R. K., 35 years old, resident of Korçë, at a local establishment where, during a check of his phone, pages for sports betting were found. The mobile phone was seized as material evidence.
Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Devoll Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against E. F., 39 years old, resident of Arrëz, Devoll, suspected of psychological abuse against his father, who was provided with a protection order.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
On February 21, 2026, in the village of Strelcë, Maliq, an employee R. M., 57 years old, resident of Ferizaj, Kosovo, and a mechanic by profession, passed away at a hydroelectric plant while repairing a defect. Investigations suggest that the death was due to natural causes.
