In Kolonjë, the local police station arrested U. Sh., 41, a resident of Cangonj village, in the act of committing theft. He allegedly stole a 50-euro bill from a café in Ersekë. During a search of his vehicle, police recovered and confiscated the stolen bill.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Narcotics Unit referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for J. G., 27, a resident of Korçë, after a personal search revealed and seized a quantity of suspected cannabis.
On January 6, 2026, in Moravë village, Korçë, a residence belonging to A. L., 47, was burglarized, with a television and several work tools reported stolen. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
All procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë First Instance Court for further legal action.
