BREAKING NEWS / Elderly woman jumps from the third floor of an apartment building, dies (NAME)

An 81-year-old woman, identified as Liza Gjonaj, ended her life this Thursday by jumping from the third floor of the apartment building where she lived.

According to the police, the incident occurred in Rrëshen, and the elderly woman died at the scene.

“At around 11:00, it is suspected that citizen Liza Gjonaj, 81, jumped from the third floor of the apartment building where she lived, resulting in her death at the scene,” the Police statement reads.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Lezhë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
