Car engulfed in flames in the middle of the night in Korçë, suspected arson

A “Mercedes Benz” vehicle was completely destroyed by fire in the early hours of this morning in the city of Korçë. The incident occurred around 2:00 AM when the car, parked in a residential area, caught fire, causing significant material damage.

The flames spread quickly, partially affecting another parked vehicle nearby. Firefighting teams intervened promptly and managed to contain the fire, but the first car was already fully damaged.

Police have launched an investigation focusing on two main leads: deliberate arson or a technical fault. The investigative team is on site, and the exact cause of the fire is expected to be determined in the coming hours.
