Criminal proceedings against four young people in Korçë, caught operating private businesses without documentation

Specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Unit of the Police have referred the case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings have been initiated against four individuals: S.M., 21 years old, K.Xh., 30 years old, A.Xh., 23 years old, and A.Ç., 23 years old, all residents of Korçë.

During inspections conducted at the private entities they managed, it was found that these individuals were conducting economic activities without the required legal documentation, thus violating obligations arising from tax laws and licensing of commercial activities.

The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë First Instance General Jurisdiction Court for further action.

The police announce that inspections will continue uninterruptedly to detect and punish any entity operating contrary to the law.
