New details have emerged about the tragic incident that took place in Orikum, Vlorë, where 50-year-old Llogora Xhebroi fatally assaulted his 40-year-old wife, Sose Xhebroi, and then took his own life in the garage of their home using a firearm. Neighbors reported that the couple often had conflicts and that, before the New Year, the woman had gone to live with her mother in Vlorë.

However, after repeated requests from her husband, she returned home to celebrate the New Year with their children. Residents also stated that there had been previous complaints by the wife, which had forced her to leave for Vlorë before. The perpetrator, Llogora Xhebroi, ran a market in Orikum, and both were known as quiet individuals, though many neighbors were aware of the couple’s ongoing conflicts.

How the incident occurred:

The tragic event happened around 1:30 PM. Sose Xhebroi’s body showed signs of violence, which are suspected to have been inflicted by her husband, Llogora Xhebroi.

The 40-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the home. Meanwhile, police found Llogora Xhebroi dead by suicide in the garage, with a firearm, a Glock pistol, and a 9mm bullet casing nearby.

According to police information, after assaulting his wife, Llogora Xhebroi took her to the hospital, where she arrived without signs of life. After the incident, he returned home and committed suicide. The couple were parents of two children, and family members told police that they had recently been experiencing problems with each other.
