Driver arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated

The number of drivers caught under the influence of narcotics has reached five.
During patrols aimed at preventing accidents and penalizing traffic violations, the Road Police of DVP Durrës stopped a vehicle in Shijak driven by 36-year-old I. M. A drug test confirmed that he was under the influence of narcotics.
Following procedural actions, the driver, I. M., residing in Shijak, was arrested in flagrante.
Over the past three months, the Durrës Road Police have also arrested four other individuals for driving under the influence of narcotics.
The Durrës Road Police urge all drivers to respect traffic rules and not operate vehicles while intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol, or narcotics.
