Earthquake of 6.4 magnitude shakes this country to its core; here’s the epicenter and staggering depth

An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck the southern Xinjiang region of China, near the border with Kyrgyzstan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.

The earthquake occurred this morning at 7:44 a.m., at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Currently, there is no information regarding possible damage or casualties.
