Explosives found in home, 35-year-old arrested / Military-grade ammunition also seized

Vlora police have struck another case of illegal activity, discovering and seizing military-grade ammunition and explosives in a home in the city.

According to the police, during a search of the home of Aldo Collari, 158 rounds of military ammunition and a block of explosive material, suspected to be TNT, were found and confiscated.

At the conclusion of procedural actions, the 35-year-old resident of Vlora was arrested on the spot for the criminal offense of “Unlawful possession and production of weapons, explosive devices, and ammunition.”

“In continuation of ongoing actions against criminal activities, and based on information obtained through operational channels, specialists from the Crime Investigation Section at Vlora Police Station targeted a case of unlawful possession of military ammunition and explosives.

During a search of the residence of A.C., police services found and seized, as material evidence, 158 rounds of military ammunition and one block of explosive material, suspected to be TNT.

At the conclusion of procedural actions, A.C., 35 years old, resident of Vlora, was arrested on the spot for the criminal offense of ‘Unlawful possession and production of weapons, explosive devices, and ammunition.’

Procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Vlora First Instance Court for further action,” the police reported.
