Sad news, Risto Qiriazi, one of the last personalities of the well-known Albanian–Orthodox family of Manastir, has passed away.
He stood out for his courage and steadfastness in defending the Albanian–Orthodox identity, following the example of the Qiriazi brothers.
Despite pressures and persecution, he remained unwavering in preserving the language, faith, and spiritual as well as national heritage.
With his passing, an important voice of historical memory is extinguished, but he leaves behind a precious testament for future generations.
May he rest in peace, and may his memory be eternal.
