Farewell to the renowned journalist and teacher, Vehbi Furxhi!

Journalist and respected teacher Vehbi Furxhi has passed away at the age of 84.

For many years, Vehbi Furxhi served as one of the leading figures in the cultural life of the city of Korçë, and later as the director of the most important media institution in southeastern Albania, Radio Korça.

Until his retirement, he worked as a teacher at the Agricultural High School, where he was widely appreciated for his dedication and knowledge.

Vehbi Furxhi is remembered as a courageous journalist, particularly known for his writings in the satirical magazine Hosteni. For many years, he was also the publisher of the newspaper Korça.

His contributions to journalism and education have left a lasting legacy in the community of Korçë and beyond.

Rest in peace, Vehbi Furxhi.
