The police have referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings have been initiated against four different individuals suspected of offenses related to environmental damage and violation of the law.
In the first case, D. M., 36 years old, resident of Hoçisht, is suspected of having caused a fire through negligence on a land area covered with vegetation. As a result of the fire spreading, a parcel planted with wheat was also burned.
Meanwhile, in a separate case in the village of Tren, M. Z., 39 years old, K. Xh., 30 years old, and D. B., 38 years old, all residents of Devoll, have been criminally prosecuted.
