Former Prime Minister Fatos Nano is in serious health condition.
Ten days ago, Nano suffered a cardiac arrest at home and was revived thanks to the intervention of doctors.
He is currently in intensive care with brain injuries.
The 73-year-old Fatos Nano, who retired from politics in 2005, served as Prime Minister of Albania in 1991, 1997-1998, and 2002-2005.
He is the founder of the Socialist Party and its first leader.
