Greece, car crashes into roadside barriers. 28-year-old driver loses his life

A fatal road accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, at the 3rd kilometer of the Kozani–Larissa National Road, near the airport, when a car, under unclear circumstances, went off course, crashed, broke through the roadside barriers, and ended up off the road.

The driver, a young man around 27–28 years old, lost his life in the violent collision. Police forces, an EKAB ambulance, and a fire brigade quickly arrived at the scene; however, the unfortunate young man was pulled out dead.

The exact causes of the accident are being investigated by the Kozani Traffic Police.
