For pre-university education teachers in the country aiming to obtain the titles “Qualified Teacher,” “Specialist Teacher,” and “Master Teacher,” a qualification process for 2026 will be launched.
The Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, announced today that this process will begin in February and continue until May. Kumbaro stated that this approach represents an important step in strengthening teaching quality and supporting teachers’ professional advancement, with the goal of raising standards in pre-university education.
In support of this cycle, the Agency for Quality Assurance in Pre-University Education has published the guidance programs for obtaining qualification levels, which are accessible to all teachers on the agency’s official website.
According to Kumbaro, the programs are designed to guide candidates on the content, competencies, and requirements that must be met during the qualification process.
“Dear teachers, this cycle is not only important for professional advancement but also a direct investment in the quality of teaching and the future of pre-university education, because your knowledge shapes generations, and therefore the responsibility is even greater,” said Kumbaro.
Teachers are encouraged to participate in this process, viewing it as an opportunity for continuous improvement and for raising the quality of teaching in the country’s pre-university education system.
