Infant formula milk contaminated with bacteria, AKU recalls “NAN 1 OPTIPRO” from the market

The AKU (Albanian Food Authority) has announced the recall of the product “NAN 1 OPTIPRO” due to bacterial contamination.
Following inspections and traceability checks, AKU has blocked the entire batch of the product, including units returned from the market, to be either destroyed or sent back to the country of origin.
Statement:
According to the notification from the importing company in Albania regarding the market withdrawal of the infant formula “NAN 1 OPTIPRO” 800g—a notice issued by the manufacturer Nestlé as a precautionary measure after the detection of the bacterium cereulide in this product at the production site in the Netherlands—we inform the public:

AKU, after completing inspections and traceability procedures, has blocked all quantities of the product, including those returned from the market, for destruction or return to the country of origin.
Additionally, AKU confirms that consumer notices have been displayed in the supermarkets where the product was sold.
