It’s been decided! Good news arrives: 15,000 lek bonus for… Around 148,000 citizens to benefit!

The Council of Ministers has approved the End-of-Year Normative Act introducing several changes to last year’s state budget.

Under this normative act, a bonus of 15,000 new lek will be distributed to families receiving economic assistance, as well as to persons with disabilities and their caregivers.

In total, around 148,500 citizens will benefit from this initiative, with an overall fund of approximately 2.2 billion lek allocated for the measure.

“Some of the main issues we approved through this normative act include financial support for families receiving economic assistance, as well as for persons with disabilities and their caregivers.

The amount of financial support, in the form of a year-end bonus, will be 15,000 lek, or 150 euros. In total, around 148,500 citizens will benefit from this initiative,” said the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj.
